Hi! I’m Ram Tamez I’m a Mexican 2D animation filmmaker currently based in Paris. In 2020, I graduated from Gobelins with the Annie Award-winning short film LA BESTIA, supported by a scholarship from Guillermo del Toro.
I’ve worked as a 2D animator on projects including Primal by Genndy Tartakovsky, Scavengers, and Common Side Effects, and recently directed KIKIRIKI, which premiered at the Annecy Festival 2023. These experiences have helped me build a strong foundation in animation, storyboarding, character design, and storytelling.
Over the years, I’ve also learned how important guidance and confidence are in a creative journey. That’s what I aim to share through this mentorship: helping your animation come alive, your drawings flow, your storytelling connect, and your confidence grow.
